"Sick and tired of being sick and tired..." Being sick is no fun! Ive pretty much been stuck in bed since last night. Im hoping this is only like a 24 hour deal because I have to go to work tomorrow. Good news though...only 3 half days of work until Christmas break. I think the dog is sick too. Poor D he has to deal with two sick puppies! lol

Wow my dog is strange! I don't know what went on today while we weren't home but the dog is in rare form! He has been running around the apt. like crazy. Apparently its a medical condition called the "Bischon Blitz." It makes me feel better to know its not just him, but all Bischons. Although its only a matter of time before he knocks down the Christmas tree. He has had a few close calls. I almost forgot! He has a new trick! He can actually balance on his back legs and spin in a circle. It sounds crazy but I swear its the funniest thing ever. We are proud of our little buddy. He's getting so big. He finally figured out that he can jump up on the bed and the back of the couch. Soon no place will be safe! He has no fear anymore. He's nuts.

Yikes! its been awhile!

Ok where to start...Thanksgiving! Mine was ok. Not being with your family sucks at Thanksgiving. I didn't think it would bother me as much as it did. Maybe it was because of all that happened this year (last few months really) or maybe because it was the Mr. and I's first Thanksgiving together. I dunno. I wont bore you with my Thanksgiving story, just know that it all worked out in the end because my Mom and sisters were able to spend Sunday with us and have a REAL Thanksgiving dinner. I even helped cook! Real food! Not just desserts or something out of a box (anyone can do that stuff! lol) but real food! It was fabulous!! It made up for the lousy Thursday.

Next, Happy Birthdays to Mom and both of my sisters! Yall are all getting old! hehe (I totally realize that you can turn around and say the same about me in a few weeks!)

Oh yeah, the Mr's softball team plays tonight. It may be his last game so even though its cold I think the dog and I will tough it out! Should be a good time. Man I may miss the games when he's done but hell I wont miss sitting out there in the cold! lol

One more thing, Cooper was not happy about being left home while we went to St. Louis. Finally today he actually wanted to play with me. He has been giving us the cold shoulder for a few days now. Well, except for when we have food he wants...

Finally, Christmas is almost here! This (besides Halloween, hehehe) is my favorite time of the year! I always feel great this time of year. Maybe its the weather, gift shopping, or just being with family, but I love this time of year. This year promises to be different from every other year but hopefully it will all be for the better!
